AIA New Orleans is proud to partner with Global Green and the U.S. Green Building Council-Louisiana Chapter to present a monthly panel discussion series on issues of sustainability as concerns the built environment. This month, we are excited to have a presentation of the BeauSoleil Home.
The BeauSoleil Home is currently under development at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The BeauSoleil Louisiana Solar Home team mission is to design and build a Solar Decathlon house that uses renewable energy sources in a culturally resonant form that also serve as a building model for other locations throughout the world...
Friday, May 22 - 6th Annual Golf Tournament
Join AIA New Orleans for our 6th Annual Golf Tournament, being held on Friday May 22d, 2009, for a day of fun out on the green. This event has doubled in participation every year since its inception, and last year we had the biggest crowds to date. This year we are expecting to sell out the event with 100 players vying for the top prizes. There are also many opportunities available for sponsoring AIA New Orleans Golf Tournament 2009...
