Members of TEAM BeauSoleil were busy Tuesday putting the final preps on their solar home in anticipation of media tours Wednesday.
Crews were working on the roof and planting native Louisiana flowers and greenery.
DOE crews also placed the outside flooring in front of the home.
The team's hardwork over the last week will pay off as tours start. The competiton kicks off Thursday.
All Solar Decathlon houses will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundsys. All houses will be closed on Oct. 14 for competition purposes.
