Members of TEAM BeauSoleil put the finishing touches on the BeauSoleil Louisiana Solar Home and are now ready for tomorrow's Opening Ceremonies.
In addition to be busy with painting touch-ups, the team was also busy with media interviews. Several crew members interviewed with TV stations, bloggers and newspaper reporters.
Gretchen Vanicor, project manager, also gave a tour of the home to DOE and BP officials. UL Lafayette President Dr. Joseph Savoie stopped by for a visit as did Ken Ardoin, vice president for Advancement Services. Fr. Chester Arceneaux and a group of other Louisiana folks also visited.
We are going to have a ribbon cutting tomorrow following the DOE's official ribbon cutting. Should be exciting! Two years of hardwork has come together for this competition.
